Company Background
Formed in 2016, Aspire Procurement Solutions Ltd was created to add a different dynamic to the way purchasing is undertaken. In the early days Aspire was just Katie, the founder and Managing Director, working with local SMEs. How things have changed…….
Procurement professionals and the areas which they manage have an unfair reputation of being boring. One of Aspire’s aims is to change that stigma and show that when working or engaging with the right team, supply chain management, cost reduction strategy, ethical sourcing and negotiation can be engaging and dare we say it…….fun!
Aspire works with both commercial and domestic clients in a friendly, flexible and professional manner to help reduce cost and add value.
Aspire has evolved and developed over the last few years from the one man band, that was Katie. Thanks to an ever growing database of clients and excellent client retention, Aspire now boasts an experienced team of support staff who are always on hand to answer any queries if Katie is unavailable ensuring that the service you receive, be it wanting to book some training, obtain a quotation for a product or enquire about a larger project, is always efficient.

Katie Jarvis-Grove

Katie has over 20 years’ of experience across three economic and a multitude of industry sectors. The work undertaken over these years has involved working in the Private Sector, Not For Profit Sector and the Public Sector. Katie is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute Of Procurement And Supply and works closely with this leading body having been commissioned to write study guides and help to develop various areas of the website.
Katie’s experience includes,but is not limited to, managing the buying for manufacturing organisations, agricultural buying groups and bespoke projects for the Ministry Of Defence. “I have bought almost anything and everything you can imagine from all over the globe. I have sourced raw materials and commodities from China, India, South America and Eastern Europe to finished goods from The United Kingdom and Africa to services such as cleaning, insurance and horse riding lessons from various continents across the globe.”

With over 30 years’ experience working in a wide range of SMEs to Blue Chip companies, as well as running her own successful business, Lynn has a wealth of business knowledge and management experience that she brings to Aspire. As Katie’s “right hand gal” Lynn is always one step ahead, and is on hand to answer any queries from existing and potential clients. With her strategic approach, excellent negotiation skills and strong customer relationship building, Lynn has, over the last two years, helped Katie to grow the Aspire businesses and is involved in all its activities at management level.
