About Aspire Procurement Solutions: Meet Katie Jarvis-Grove
Bringing senior-level procurement expertise to UK SMEs
Aspire Procurement Solutions was founded to bring senior-level procurement expertise to UK SMEs at an accessible price point. We believe every business deserves world-class procurement support, not just large enterprises. Founded in 2016, Aspire has grown from a one-person consultancy to a trusted partner for businesses across Lincolnshire and the UK, while maintaining the personal service that sets us apart.
Meet Katie Jarvis-Grove: 20+ Years’ of procurement excellence
Katie’s story
Katie Jarvis-Grove is a Chartered Fellow of CIPS (FCIPS) procurement professional with over 20 years of experience across diverse industries including: manufacturing, agriculture, construction and the Ministry of Defence. She has been commissioned to write study guides and contribute to professional development resources.
Her career began in MOD procurement, where she managed high-value contracts and developed expertise in compliance, risk management, and strategic sourcing. This foundation gave her the discipline and rigor that defines her approach today. “I have bought almost anything and everything you can imagine from all over the globe. I have sourced raw materials and commodities from China, India, South America and Eastern Europe to finished goods from the UK and Africa to services such as cleaning, insurance and horse riding lessons from various continents across the globe.”
After MOD, Katie expanded her expertise across manufacturing, where she optimised materials procurement and supply chain operations for UK-based manufacturers. She then moved into agricultural procurement, helping farming businesses navigate seasonal purchasing and equipment sourcing challenges. This breadth of experience means Katie truly understands procurement across sectors. Not just theory, but practical application.
Throughout her career, Katie identified a gap: SMEs were either hiring expensive large consultancies or struggling with ad-hoc procurement processes. She founded Aspire Procurement Solutions in 2016 to bridge that gap, bringing senior-level expertise to businesses that need it most, at a price point that makes sense.

How Aspire has evolved
12016: The Beginning
2Growth & CIPS Training
3Today: A Trusted Partner
Aspire was founded as a one person consultancy focused on serving local Lincolnshire SMEs. Katie brought her varied industry and sector experience to businesses that couldn’t afford full-time procurement managers.
As client demand grew, Katie expanded into CIPS training, becoming an approved training centre. This dual focus allowed Aspire to serve both businesses needing procurement support and professionals seeking career advancement.
Aspire has evolved from a one person consultancy to a trusted partner with an experienced support team, an ever growing client database, and excellent retention rates. Despite this growth, we’ve maintained the personal, flexible, and professional approach that clients value.
Our mission & values
Changing the perception of procurement
Procurement professionals and the areas they manage have an unfair reputation of being boring. One of Aspire’s aims is to change that stigma and show that when working with the right team, supply chain management, cost reduction strategy, ethical sourcing and negotiation can be engaging and, dare we say it was fun!
Making expertise accessible
We believe every business deserves world-class procurement support, not just large enterprises. Our flexible engagement models and transparent pricing mean SMEs can access senior-level expertise without enterprise-level budgets.
Results over reports
We’re not interested in delivering generic reports that sit on shelves. We implement strategies, negotiate with suppliers, and deliver measurable results. Our success is measured by client savings, student pass rates, and long-term partnerships.

Thanks to an ever growing database of clients and excellent client retention, Aspire now boasts an experienced team of support staff who are always on hand to answer any queries if Katie is unavailable, ensuring that the service you receive is always efficient.
